Transportation Network Driver:
Drivers insured by Farm Bureau Insurance are not fully covered under their Personal Auto Policy while driving for platforms like Uber and Lyft. If you were utilizing one of these platforms during an auto accident and had a client passenger in your vehicle, there would be no liability or physical damage coverage available. If you are currently in this situation and would like to obtain coverage, contact our team and we can help you find the best coverage solution.
Delivering Products:
While coverage is not fully provided when drivers utilize Transportation Networks, coverage can easily be obtained for those that use platforms like UberEATS, DoorDash, Newspaper Delivery, etc. Farm Bureau’s Personal Auto Policy can provide coverage as long as the driver’s vehicle is being rated for Business Use of at least 7,500 miles or more annually. It is important that you let us know so that we can make note of this on your policy.
